Pippa Fitz-Amobi is the protagonist of the TV show A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. In the first season of the show, she sets out to prove that Sal Singh was not responsible for the disappearance of Andie Bell.
Biography[]
Pippa Fitz-Amobi was born to Leanne Amobi and an unnamed man. Her biological father died when she was 1-year-old.
Her mother later married Victor Amobi, and they had Pip’s half-brother, Josh Amobi. The family also got a dog named Barney.
5 years before the timeline of AGGGTMTV, on April 19, 2019, Pip saw both Andie and Sal. Andie walked into an empty classroom, putting a finger to her lips, as if telling Pip not to say anything. However, a few minutes later when Sal walks by, she hesitates for a moment before telling Sal that Andie walked into the empty classroom. She thought that Andie and Sal were fighting, and was carrying around a lot of guilt, because if Sal wasn’t innocent, she felt like she was partly responsible for Andie’s death.

Episode 1[]
It is Pip’s last day of school and she leaves at the end of the day to go to the Little Kilton Corner Store with her friends, Cara Ward, Lauren Gibson, Connor Reynolds, and Zach Chen. Her friends are trying to buy alcohol, and employ Pip as a distraction. After being called out by Mrs. Penton, they all rush out the store. As they are walking back, they stop by the tribute mural of Andie Bell, and Pippa remembers a memory she had of Andie on the day of her disappearance. Pip had seen Andie in school that day. Andie had made eye contact with Pip and put her finger to her lip in a shushing motion as she walked into an empty classroom. Pippa walks past the mural, head in her thoughts
Pippa heads on home, and we are introduced to her family. At home, she's making a 'starter' to eat while she does homework, but Victor tells her to walk the dog, Barney, first. On her walk, she sees a bunch of kids trying to pull a prank at the Singh's house, and shouts ("Hey, idiots! You dropped the communal brain cell!") as they run away. Later, at the mural, she meets up with Cara and informs her that she's decided her EPQ topic: the Andie Bell murder case. That night, Pip is back in her room, and she begins to prepare a conspiracy map on her wall and review what she knew about the case.
The next day, Pip is waiting at the bus stop for Ravi while holding muffins. As she's walking her dog, she follows, and ultimately they chat as Ravi's eating the muffins and guessing it's ingredients. She then tells him that they're actually bribery muffins, as she wanted to convince him to answer some questions on the Andie Bell case for her EPQ. He gets upset, handing her the muffins back and walks into his house, leaving her alone. Pip, now upset too, continues walking Barney into the woods. Pip notices black ribbons wrapped around tree branches, probably put for Andie. She finds a cabin, and also spots someone running. She's surprised and thinks it's Andie. But chasing them down, she finds it was just Becca Bell, Andie's sister.
Later, Pip is hanging out at the Ward home with Cara and Lauren. She wants to interview Naomi (Cara's sister) who was one of Sal’s best friends. Cara tells her not to, as the topic is still sensitive. Lauren informs them that Ant Lowe has invited her to go to the Hastings’ party with him. Later, Pip leaves to go gets snacks, stopping by Naomi's room to look at pictures of her old friends: Sal, Max Hastings, and Jake Lawrence. Downstairs, she meets Naomi, and ends up interviewing Naomi her. But Naomi gets upset, and right then Elliot walks in.
Pippa leaves, driving back home. That night, she scrolls through Naomi's Instagram photos that date to Andie's disappearance. Later, in her brother's room, she has an idea about getting a job. She's catering at the Hasting's party, but only to talk to Max. She follows him secretly, while seeing Jason Bell aggressively talk on the phone with Becca. She finds Max in the basement, who lets her interview him only if she takes a shot for every question. He tells her the same things Naomi did, but mentions they were playing a different game that night. Afterwards, Pip briefly encounters Dan da Silva. Later, Pip and Cara end up arguing. Cara tells her to stop playing detective and Pip argues back that she is not playing, leaving the party on her own.
Teary-eyed and still in her star costume, Pip is walking down the street to Ravi's house. She gets the flashback again, and we come to know that, as Pip interprets it, Andie didn't want her to tell anyone where she was, but Pip hesitantly told Sal anyway. She knocks on the Singh's door, and is then greeted by Sal and Ravi’s mother, Nisha Singh. Ravi is called down the stairs, who thinks Pip is crazy in her star costume. Pip apologizes to Ravi for the way she approached him, and then says that she thinks it was all a stupid mistake coming to his house. Just as she leaves, he calls her back, asking why she wanted to investigate the case. Pip tells him that he was always so kind to her and that she truly does believe that he would never have hurt Andie. Ravi then brings her upstairs to Sal’s old room. They go through Sal's old phone, especially the confession message he sent the day he died. They conclude that it didn't look like Sal wrote it, and if so, then who did?
That night, Pip is in her room going through Sal’s messages, and comes to know that he and Andie were arguing 2 days before her disappearance.

Episode 3[]
Pip walks Barney as she listens to her interview with Max and how he knew Andie was a drug dealer who sold mainly at Calamity parties, though Sal hated drugs. Pip smirks as she remembers Max asking if she's ready for everything Calamity offers.
Once at school, Pip tells her friends she wants to attend a Calamity party. This surprises Cara as this is out of character for Pip. Connor calls it "a lot" out of character, while Lauren's excited to attend her first Calamity. She's been wanting to go since year nine. She doesn't want to go to film school without going to a proper party - plus, Ant will be there, which Cara teases her about. Lauren turns the tables and says Ruby Foxcroft will also be there. Lauren knows there's a Calamity at the start of every term. Connor knows people like them won't get invited, with Zach adding it's infamously debauched.
Pip, Cara, and Lauren head to the library to do a deep dive on socials for the location of the Calamity party and how to gain access. Lauren gets distracted by videos of Ant. Pip accidentally likes Becca Bell's post about a former Calamity party. They continue their search as Pip reveals that black ribbons are a clue. Lauren finds a picture of a black ribbon with the caption "5 more sleeps", meaning there's a party this Saturday. Naomi texts Cara that the location of the Calamities she attended was shared at midday the Monday before the party. That would be about now.
Pip approaches Dylan in the halls and offers to adjust his TikTok visibility settings so he can hit more FYP's. She uses his phone to find the location of the next Calamity, barely finding the clue "Black Banana Bears" before he takes the phone back. She shuffles back to Cara and Lauren who tease her for saying "viralize."
Elliot dismisses his English class, though Cara and Pip stay to keep analyzing the code. Pip's tried it as a numerical code in case they're coordinates and an anagram if it's an address, but doesn't have any luck. Elliot doesn't think their homework looks like English. Cara lists that it's a code-breaking game and they have to use "black banana bears" to find a location. He solves it as What3Words and Pip calls him a genius. She puts it in her phone and it pings in the center of the woods.
Pip meets with Ravi in her car. He asks if they think the guy Andie sold for is Secret Older Guy, and it's possible. Either way, she needs to find the dealer. She calls him "Watson" which starts a light-hearted debate over which of them is Watson or Sherlock. Pip is attending a Calamity this Saturday to follow the drugs. Ravi warns that she can't just walk up to a dealer to ask about a murder. She invites him along, but he doesn't want to attend. She knows people treated him badly after Sal died, and he admits she's on her own for this. He warns her to be careful - a classic Watson remark.
Cara helps Pip pick out an outfit for the party. She wants to know the tea about her attending the party. Pip teases Cara about wanting to see Ruby, but Cara thinks Ruby's out of her league. Pip doesn't believe that as her friend is funny, kind, and has great teeth. She won the bleep test three years in a row. Cara wants to get to the party before it's too late. Leanne enters with a laundry basket, learning with great humor that her daughter is attending a party. Vic reminds them that if anyone offers them drugs, to only take half first. The parents tease about meeting that way.
Lauren, Pip, and Cara walk to the party while Lauren gushes over Pip's parents being the dream. They follow the ribbons to a cave entrance. Pip is looking forward to pina coladas, feeling a bit dejected when she learns there won't be any. They enter the cave and follow the tunnels to the center, where a party is raging inside. Dozens of people are dancing, drinking, smoking, and making out. Lauren brings over drinks for herself and Lauren. They decide to find the boys next.
The girls come across a group, including Connor and Zach, who are playing spin the bottle. Connor leaves with one of the girls he lands on. Ruby spots Cara and invites her to dance. Dylan invites Pip and Lauren to play, and Pip decides to join after seeing him snort some drugs. Dylan's bottle lands on Pip and she follows him into another room.
Dylan lounges on a couch suggestively raising his brow to Pip. She wants to just talk as she's too sober for anything else. He offers to get shrooms from his dealer. She doesn't seem like the type to do drugs to him. She wants to let loose for once and go a bit wild. Dylan agrees to sort her out. She follows him through the caves to a more secluded room to meet Howie. Dylan decides to wait outside and warns her to be careful.
Pip greets everyone including Howie, who is sitting on an armchair at the top of the group. Once knowing she's with Dylan, Howie remarks that he owes him 60 quid. Pip offers to pay him back if she can ask him three questions for twenty pounds per question. He agrees so she puts money on the table. She learns Andie Bell dealt drugs for Howie - weed, ketamine, Rohypnol, and a bit of mandy. A strung-out Martha liked Andie. Howie calls Andie the perfect decoy "until she wasn't." He shows off his scar which he got in Belmarsh when a guy filled a kettle with sugar, boiled it, and threw it in Howie's face. He laughs at the expression on her face - he's just joking with her. His brother did the scar to him. When people see people like Howie, they expect a certain thing. But no one expected a girl like Andie to keep her stash in a toy bunny. Pip uses her last question to ask where he was on the 19th of April 2019. She's not accusing him of anything, but he gets offended by the accusation. He darkly asks what would happen if he was the type to murder teenage girls. Martha whines for him to leave Pip alone, but the girl is already running out of the room.
Pip leans against a cave wall where Dylan finds her. He tries to flirt with her and feel her up despite her protests. Jesse interrupts them and scares Dylan off, calling him a little creep. She walks Pip back to the party, warning her to keep an eye on any drinks she gets. Pip leaves the party, still disoriented and out of breath. She walks home and, seeking safety, sneaks into bed with Josh. She answers a call from Ravi who thought she would be out partying. He's playing a video game and brainstorming his strategy with her. He feels bad for not going with her to the party, but she lies about it being pretty boring. After Andie went missing, everyone treated the Singhs like they were guilty. It was easier for Ravi to hide in his room and kill zombies than it was to face everyone. He feels bad that he wasn't there for her. She agrees to meet him tomorrow for a full debrief. Her phone buzzes again with a text message from an unknown number calling her a "stupid bitch" who should "leave this alone."
In the morning, people leave new objects at Andie's memorial site. Becca calls out to Pip and confronts her about investigating Andie's case. She asks her why she's doing it. She doesn't think Pip can understand how difficult this is for everyone. She looks at the painting which got her sister's smile wrong. Andie had a dimple on her chin. Pip is trying to find the truth, but Becca remarks it's not about the truth. People act like this stuff is for the dead person, but it's not. It's for the living and the ones who leave things. Pip watches her walk away while mulling over what Becca just said.
Pip visits Ravi in a pub where the boy is working behind the bar. She lingers at the doorway before leaving without saying hello. She goes to a tearoom to think. She calls Ravi who made her a non-alcoholic drink he's calling the "Pipsmoplitan". While holding back tears, she tells Ravi she can't come to see him today despite wanting to. He says it's alright and asks if she's okay. He still wants the scoop on the party. She thanks him and hangs up.
Cara and Pip recap their nights at the tearoom. Pip doesn't tell her about the interaction with Dylan. Cara and Ruby danced, kissed, and returned to the dance floor when Lauren was freaking out over Pip being gone. Cara felt bad about leaving Pip behind. Pip takes responsibility for leaving without saying anything. She went to the party to talk to a suspect about Andie and it scared her. She doesn't know what to do now. Cara takes her friend's hand to comfort her.
Back home, Pip looks over her detective board when Leanne comes in to ask what happened last night. Josh told her about Pip hogging the duvet. Pip didn't fancy sleeping alone. Leanne wants to talk to her about a phone call she had with Elliot regarding Pip hanging out with Ravi Singh. Pip lies that she hasn't, but Leanne scolds her against lying. She and Victor don't feel this topic is appropriate any longer. Elliot will help her on Monday to pick out a new topic. Pip doesn't argue with her mom and agrees to help with chopping duties for dinner. When Leanne is gone, Pip looks to her board and writes down her new evidence. She replays her interactions with Becca and Howie, then texts Ravi to meet her tomorrow. She's blowing off school to meet him in the morning.
Pip picks up Ravi and brings him to the Bell's house. He's brought her marshmallows, the quietest food in the world. She tells him about the drugs being stashed in a toy rabbit and her burner phone with secret info on it. She's proposing they sneak into the Bell's house. She's sharp with a concerned Ravi. He calls her insane, but that's why "a Sherlock needs a Watson." He offers to keep watch since a Brown man sneaking into a white family's house is not a good look. They watch Becca leave the house in her car, crouching as she drives past. Ravi will text Pip a code word if he sees danger - marshmallow.
Pip successfully finds a hide-a-key by the back door and sneaks into the home. She locates Andie's old room on the second floor. She looks over Andie's belongings and takes photos when needed. She picks up a toy rabbit and operates with a pair of scissors on the floor. Ravi notices Becca's return and texts Pip, but she's distracted from gutting the rabbit. She finds a bin containing another rabbit and is about to operate again when Ravi sneaks in to warn her about Becca's return. They brush the evidence under the bed, then seek shelter in a closet. Becca walks in calling for Monty. She notices a ball of fuzz on the floor. Ravi and Pip hold their breath inside the closet as Becca turns her sites to their hiding spot. She approaches slowly until the doorbell rings, distracting her from the duo huddled closely inside the closet. When Becca leaves, Ravi stops Pip from gutting another rabbit, showing her the back is open. They empty out the drugs stashed inside, but there's no burner phone. She proposes they find a drain pipe and shimmy out the back, but he worries someone will see them. They should just listen and make a run for it instead. She steals the rabbit despite his warnings of what will happen if they get caught.
They manage to sneak out of the house while Becca and her company, Dan da Silva, are distracted. Pip speeds away after buckling her seatbelt. She calls them an amazing pair. Dan watches them speed off with a dark expression.
Episode 4[]
Pip and Ravi visit a meadow where they investigate the drugs found in the teddy bear. They wonder who Andie Bell was as it doesn't make sense that she would need money, as the Bells own three cars. Pip digs a piece of paper out of the rabbit. It's a list of initials coupled with numbers. He spots it as a tick list - the buyers, the drug, and the amounts are all documented - TT has a soft spot for Rohypnol. Any of them could have killed Andie. Pip tasks Ravi with getting rid of the drugs. He jokes about wanting to start a business as a small town drug dealer, inviting her to be his henchwoman. She agrees but it has to be after school. He gently takes a piece of fuzz out of her hair, smiling at the "rabbit guts".
Pip runs into school and barely makes it in time for her meeting Mrs. Bradshaw who is conducting her Cambridge University practice interview. Elliot introduces them and watches the interview as Pip talks about the feminist themes in Jane Eyre. Mrs. Bradshaw asks about Pip's chosen EPQ topic. Pip looks at Elliot then lies that her EPQ is about feminism in the graphic novel, declining Elliot's suggestion to elaborate before leaving.
Several students gather in the auditorium to help with decorations for the upcoming 2019 class reunion. Zach, Connor, and Lauren are discussing the party, but Pip is is lost in thought over the tick list. Cara walks over to Pip and asks how the interview went. She was worried Pip missed it because Elliot was looking for her in the art room. Pip insists it went well until Connor outs her for bunking three lessons. Ruby walks over and steals Cara's hat. They walk off while flirting. Pip shades in a title on the piece of paper to reveal a business name - Ivy House Hotel. She texts Ravi about her discovery.
Pip heads home where she looks up the Ivy House Hotel. Leanne comes inside with Victor, who helps her carry the groceries. They ask about the interview but Pip tries to brush off the topic. Leanne sees through Pip's lie about meeting with Cara for a school project tonight. Pip admits she's still looking into the case, which Leanne disapproves of. Pip might not be doing the case for her EPQ but she's still doing the case. Leanne tries to forbid her daughter from going, but Pip disobeys her by going anyway.
Pip drives Ravi to the Ivy House Hotel as they discuss who Andie could have been going to the hotel with. She thinks it was Secret Older Guy since the hotel has a very expensive nightly rate and is far enough from Little Kilton for privacy. They just have to find his name in the hotel records. Ravi wonders if Andie is not really dead, but secretly holing up with Secret Older Guy for five years. They laugh over the absurdity.
They arrive at the hotel and talk to the dismissive concierge named Henry about the Andie Bell case. She shows him a picture but he barely glances at it. Upon a second glance, he recognizes Andie as being there a few weeks ago. Ravi nods to the records and Pip asks to see the guest books, but Henry tells her the information is confidential. If they aren't going to book a room they have to leave. The teens start to leave until Pip has an idea.
The fire alarm blares in the hotel as guests and staff leave. Pip uses the distraction to steal the guest book from 2019. As the guests return, Ravi whistles for her to come up the stairs and they hide in one of the rooms while laughing. He set off the fire alarm by burning a blunt in the toilet. Things become awkward for a moment as they realize they're in a room together alone. They discuss Henry seeing Andie a few weeks ago. Pip doesn't think it's too strange as lots of people thought they saw Andie after the night she disappeared. She goes into the bathroom and takes a selfie. This confuses Ravi until she compares the tiling to the selfie of Andie that Max Hastings had in his bedroom. This proves Andie was at the hotel. Ravi compliments Pippa as being smarter than she looks. Henry enters so the teens flee on foot with the guest book.
Pip and Ravi visit a cafe for food, though Pip doesn't eat despite Ravi's efforts to share. She can't find Andie or the mystery guy in the book. She does find the aliases Daisy Buchanan and Jay Gatsby, who were characters from The Great Gatsby. The handwriting in the book matches Andie's. She hands Ravi a napkin since he has cream on his nose.
Victor and Leanne are watching TV when Pip returns home late that evening. Leanne greets her from the living room where Vic is asleep on her shoulder. They exchange 'I love you' before Pip goes to bed. In her room, Pip continues to look through the guest book. She finds another entry from Andie and Secret Older Guy. She dials the number on file but it has been disconnected. She saves it in her phone as 'Secret Older Guy?' She finds Vic's name in the guestbook from January 1st, 2019.
In the morning, Pip watches her parents jovial nature in the kitchen over his sleeping through the movie they watched last night. He plans to get materials for a party after work. When he's gone, Pip asks Leanne why the family didn't go to Nigeria five years ago with Vic when he went to visit Granny. Leanne surmises it was a long flight for two small children to make.
Still not convinced about her fathers whereabouts in January, Pip walks to school from her house. Dan greets her in the street and request she come with him in exchange for giving back her nose. She tries to blow him off but he's insistent. He knows she broke into Andie's house the other day. He takes her to the Bells while assuring that he won't turn her in. Jason is out front washing a car. Dan admires Pip's nerve to break into the house even if her methods were unconventional. He smiles over her similarity to his sister Nat. The siblings raised each other which is why they're rough around the edges. Their parents were terrible people, but the siblings did alright as they had each other. Pip thinks Andie must have been around a lot since she was close with Nat. He doesn't want to talk about Andie. He and Nat fended for themselves but there were hairy times with not much money coming in and a little sister to support. Jason Bell stepped up, took Dan under his wing, and gave him a job before encouraging him to join the police. When Jason lost Andie the grief was terrible. Dan wants Pip to stop now since a girl died, her parents are mourning, and the grief is still raw. She argues that Sal's parents are mourning too. Dan thinks that's on Sal as he had a choice but Andie had no choices. He knows Sal is guilty because he worked on the case. Sal snapped when he found out Andie wasn't the good girl he thought she was. He knows she wants to see the world in a certain way, but she can't anymore. He shows her Sal's interrogation with DI Hawkins that shows Sal becoming irate in the room with Hawkins and Dan.
Pip arrives at school and goes to her locker. She replays seeing Sal in the hall the day Andie went missing and telling Sal where she went. Now, Elliot asks for a word of her time. He understands her disappoint about her EPQ, but thinks she's smart enough to know why it wasn't appropriate subject matter. She tells him it's done now and walks away.
Once home, Pip sits next to Barney's bed playing with one of his tennis balls when Leanne finds them. Pip tells her about Vic checking into a hotel five years ago and the guest book she found with his name in it. Leanne already knows this is true. Pip wants to know what he was doing there. They were going through a rough patch, he was always working, and she jumped to the conclusion that he was seeing someone else. He actually just needed a minute to take a break. She knows he wasn't seeing anyone else because he told her so. She tells Pip everything is okay, but the girl isn't sure if Vic is really a good guy anymore. All relationships have tough times and Leanne admits she is a bit much sometimes, but Pip thinks she's just enough. Leanne chooses to believe Vic wasn't having an affair. Pip, teary-eyed, says that if the evidence points against someone and you believe them anyway, that makes you an idiot. She storms out of the room.
Pip stares at the picture of Sal on her crime board. Her phone buzzes with a call from Ravi that she doesn't answer. Vic opens her door asking if he can come in, but she rejects his request. He tells her nothing happened, but Pip isn't sure she can know that. He respects her too much to lie to her. Just because she wants it to be true doesn't mean it is. She pushes the door shut on him.
Ravi is skipping stones by the lake when Pip visits him. She's seen Sal's police interview where he seemed upset. Ravi thinks that's to expected when being interviewed by the police. While that might be true, Pip saw anger and aggression in Sal that she hadn't seen before. She wouldn't react the way he did. She's trying to look at it objectively, which offends Ravi since Sal wasn't looked at objectively. A Brown guy going out with a blonde girl while the papers called him a beast and a monster. She knows Sal lied now. He told them that he wasn't arguing with Andie when she disappeared but they were. She confesses to seeing Andie and Sal in school that day. She passed Pip in the corridor, crying, and asked Pip not to tell anyone where she was. Pip told Sal where Andie was. The next, Andie was gone, and Pip feels responsible for that sometimes. She wonders if they're wrong about Sal being innocent. Ravi realizes this is all about Pip and her guilt. She need him to be innocent, mocking her for being a "poor little Pip." She really thought he was innocent and doesn't know what to think now. Ravi can't believe he thought she was different or actually liked her. He accuses her of not being a good person. He storms off as she stands alone in the woods.
Pip races down the dirt road in a daze, her speed accelerating as she replays moments in her mind. She grows more distracted until finally pulling off the road. She stumbles out of her car crying and collapses several feet away in the tall grass.
Pip knocks on Cara's door crying and asks to come in. The girls lay out back on a blanket to look at the sky. Pip is reluctant to tell Cara what's wrong. She wonders if they can ever know each other, and Cara doesn't. While she and Pip are friends, their are parts of each other they don't know about. Like when Pip is doing the case with Ravi. It makes Pip sad to think about, but Cara is happy with the Pip she knows. Pip asks if she's a good person, and Cara confirms that her friend is the very best. Pip asks to stay the night and Cara agrees if she'll help her with something.
The girls pin down Naomi so Cara can force makeup on her older sister ahead of the reunion that night. Elliot needs them to get moving as he's chaperoning. The television is broken so they'll have to entertain themselves otherwise. After he leaves, Naomi expresses that she's not excited for tonight. Cara wants her to see the banner she and Pip "spent hours" working on, which Pip knows is a lie but doesn't out. Cara tells her sister that Jamie Reynolds will be there. Cara bounces out to get straighteners. When she's gone, Naomi asks for an update in the case as she wants to know even though Cara doesn't want her to know. Pip thinks they've got it all wrong about Sal being innocent. Cara returns and Naomi starts heading out before telling Pip that she can borrow her laptop to a watch movie, highly recommending Tango Tits from 2019. She kisses Cara's cheek, hugs her, thanks for making her look pretty, and leaves.
Pip goes into Naomi's room and discovers Tango Tits is an Instagram handle belonging to Max Hastings. There is a picture of Naomi, Jake, and Max from the 19th of April. Pip takes a picture of the post and notices the time on the clock - 12:06 a.m. If Sal truly left early, he couldn't have taken the picture. She starts to call Ravi then stops. Cara walks in to ask about the film, but Pip leaves in an emotional rush.
She runs down the streets of Little Kilton until she bursts into the high school gymnasium. She is drawn to the class photos in the back of the room. Max approaches to remark on how hot their year group was. It was a shame so many of them ended up dead. He's fucked up either because his mom doesn't love him or his father thinks he's a failure - or both. Pip spots Naomi and angrily marches over to confront her about lying.
In a classroom, Pip emotionally confronts Naomi about lying that Sal left at 10:30. He was with them until 12:15 just like he said. Naomi has no choice but to tell the truth. They had to lie back then because "they found what we did."

Isla and Pip sit on the bed as Isla speaking about being a runaway teen. Elliot finds her at the bus station and is relieved to see her before realizing she isn't Andie. He invites her back to his home, soothing her worries by saying he was a teacher with two teenage daughters. He offered her a place to stay until she could get on her feet. Things were nice for the first night, until Isla got up later to find Elliot drinking. She thanks him for the help, calling him a good person. He confesses that he is a bad man, a statement she rebukes as he was good to her. He confesses to killing someone. He details how he murdered Sal Singh and framed him for the death of Andie Bell. She asks for a glass to share the alcohol he's drinking. While he's out of the room, she tries to escape the house, but fumbles over the locks on the front door. He kidnaps her, locking her inside his attic. Isla breaks down in tears as Pip tries to comfort her. As Isla finishes her story, the police and paramedics arrive, saving both girls.
sla sits in the back of a medics van as the police arrest Elliot. Pip attacks the police car trying to get inside, but it speeds off. Vic embraces her, telling her she's safe, and letting her cry into his shoulder.
Pip stares at her crime board for a moment before taking everything down. She throws the photos away and wipes off her timeline.
Ravi and Pip visit the lake where they throw flowers into the water. His parents are emotional, being happy one minute and sad the next. Everyone knows Sal is innocent and didn't kill himself now. She asks how he's doing. He feels different, thanking her for that. He remarks they were a good team. She approaches him cautiously and starts to tell him something until he cuts her off - he's leaving. He's been trapped there putting his whole life on hold. He can leave now by getting a job, going to college, and doing life. She wants him to do that here, but he needs to go. He hugs her tightly but she doesn't reciprocate. He gives her a long look before walking away.
She goes to a meadow where she sits on her car in silence.
Once at school, Lauren, Connor, Zach, and Pip discuss the break in the case. A forensic team was over at the Wards looking for DNA. Connor can't believe Elliot walked among them like an ordinary, everyday guy while harboring the darkest secret ever. Zach remarks it wasn't just one secret. He also had a girl trapped in his attic in a secret house, had a secret teenage lover who he murdered, hid her body, and secretly murdered her boyfriend. Pip adds that he broke into her house on her brother's birthday and killed her dog. Lauren spots Cara walking into the halls and they all stand rigid. She walks over to her friend group, emotional, and Pip hugs her tightly followed by the rest of their friends. The bell rings, sending everyone else away except Pip and Cara. Pip wants to make it better, but Cara knows she can't. They start to English class, where Elliot's name is crossed off the door in red ink. Cara can't handle the day and leaves.
That night, Pip is whisking batter while helping Leanne cook. She starts crying and admits to feeling guilty about ruining Cara's life. Leanne assures her that's not on Pip, but on Elliot. If she hadn't uncovered the truth, everyone would still believe Sal was a killer, Andie's family wouldn't have closure, and there would still be a girl in Elliot's attic. Leanne knows there were a million obstacles, but she's proud of her daughter for not giving up. Everything seems sad and strange, but she needs Pip to know she's the bees knees. Leanne is upset that Elliot doesn't have the decency to own up to killing Andie. This makes Pip realize something, and she goes back upstairs to restore some of her crime board. This time, she focuses on Sal, the Wards, and the anonymous threats she received. She realizes through Instagram that the Ward's were out of town on the 14th of September when Barney was killed, so Elliot couldn't have been responsible.
Pip drives through town to the police station where Dan gives her five minutes alone with Elliot. The prisoner immediately apologizes, but she tells him no. She came because he was gone the day Barney went missing, telling him about the threats she received and his murder. Someone else is hiding something and someone else murdered Andie Bell. Elliot admits to being a monster who can be blamed for everything. Pip does blame him for murdering Sal and taking advantage of Andie when she was 17. He kidnapped Isla and kept her prisoner. She knows he would want Cara and Naomi to know he didn't kill Andie. Andie was looking for money the night she died, but Pip doesn't know why. Elliot explains that when he told Andie no to the money she went crazy, saying if she couldn't leave that night she was scared of what "he" might do. When Elliot and Andie were together she told him that Jason was controlling over everyone, running that house with fear. He didn't let her have boyfriends. Jason was supposed to be out all evening that night, but Elliot knows Jason wasn't. He was out looking for Andie by the woods when he saw Jason drive past him in a van. He either lied about his alibi or didn't mention the flaw in it. Either way, eh won't admit to it now. It's Jason's sword against Elliot's. When Andie went missing, Elliot thought she was dead. He was desperate and thought everything would lead to him. Then he remembered reading Naomi's diary a few months prior and learning about the hit-and-run. That's when the dark little seed came into his head. Soon, killing Sal and blaming him was the only way to protect his girl. They had already lost their mom, he couldn't bear the thought of them losing him too. Pip, crying, calls him evil. He wonders if the dark little seed is evil and not him. If they all have a dark seed somewhere deep inside, even Pip. It just needs the right conditions to grow. Pip expected a better metaphor from an English teacher. He had a choice and he chose to murder Sal. Dan comes in to end their time together. Elliot asks about his girls, and Pip leaves without telling him anything else. She asks him about the van Jason drove that night, learning it was blue.
Pip runs to the Singh house only to find Ravi is nearly finished packing. She tells him that Elliot didn't kill Andie Bell and about the van Jason was driving - the same van the police were looking for. Ravi doesn't want to hear anything else. She reminds him they're supposed to be a team. She can't do this on her own. He tells her its over so she leaves.
Pip drives across town to sneak into a junkyard. She spies on Jason Bell who is making a phone call inside a trailer. She investigates the yard until she finds the scrapped cars. Jason, suspecting someone is nearby, is following her from a distance. She sees a van covered up by a tarp and pulls it off, revealing a blue van underneath. It's empty inside but she hears Jason asking Jesse if someone is lurking around, so she jumps in the back. A few moments later, Jesse opens the doors and spots Pip. Jesse works there and is wondering why the fuck Pip is there.
They sit out of the junkyard in Pip's car to discuss her newest theory about Jason killing Andie. Jesse squashes that theory - the alarms went off at the office so Jason came down and turned them off before going back to dinner. Jesse knows because their dad used to work there. He checked the cameras that night but no one else came in or out of the gate was Jason. When the police asked about the blue van, Jason came forward and claimed it was his. They didn't announce it on the news because they already thought Sal was guilty. Pip looks dejected, so Jesse explains that Jason may have been controlling, but he had good reason. Becca was Jesse's best friend, but the Bell girls were wild. Andie was a party girl and Becca did everything she could to be just like her. Jason's controlling nature didn't work with Becca, either. Jesse tells her about a 2019 Calamity party in which Becca was raped.
She called Jesse in the morning and they went to get Plan-B together, undoubtedly believing Becca had been roofied. She couldn't remember anything about what happened or who had done it. Pip thanks Jesse for saving her again, and Jesse sports a hero pose before walking off.
Pip goes home to look at her murder board again. She goes back to Andie's tick list, remembering Andie sold drugs to Max Hastings, whose secret Instagram handle was "Tango Tits" - T.T. Pip calls Max while recording the call. He guesses she's calling to apologize for trying to blame the whole thing on him, but she confronts him about raping Becca Bell at the March 2019 Calamity party with the drugs that Andie sold to him. Max denies the rape, saying it was consensual, and an enraged Pip says it's hard to say no "when you can't speak" before hanging up on him. She recalls her conversations with Becca and the timeline of Andie's car driving past Little Kilton Square.
Pip is at Becca's door. She wants to talk about what happened with Max - how Andie was already dead when Becca drove her car. Becca invites the teenager inside. They talk at the counter over tea. Becca knows what happened to Pip at the Calamity party before of Jesse. She wonders why Pip can say it's fine that some slimy little prick can put his hands on her when she asked her not to. Pip knows she's right about it not being okay. Becca told her sister about the assault and asked her to come to the police with her. But instead, Andie said she couldn't because she sold Max the drugs he used. Andie needed the money to leave the next day, but Becca didn't know where. She flashes back to them arguing in the kitchen. Andie couldn't take living with their father anymore. It had been the two of them against him for so long - Becca felt abandoned. She pushed Andie into a wall and she hit her head. She was bleeding everywhere, vomiting, and choking while Becca just stood there watching her die. Pip reveals that Andie was already injured from earlier that night after a fight with Elliot. It doesn't matter to Becca anymore. She asks if Pip wants to see where Andie's body is. Pip agrees so Becca tells her to drink up so they can go. The girls get into Becca's car outside and she drives away.
Becca drives Pip to the woods where they have to walk the rest of the way with a torch. They enter the caves where the Calamity parties were held. They navigate the tunnels, but Pip starts to feel disoriented. They reach a grate in the tunnels that Becca unlocks and opens, sliding the door over with great force to reveal a large pit below. In the water at the bottom of the well is a body. Andie had shown this place to Becca before, and now, Becca has to put Pip in there too. Pip tries to argue but nearly falls over from the roofies Becca put in her tea. She got to Andie's bunny before Pip. Pip knows Becca is angry, but Max Hastings is to blame. They could go home right now and make it right. Becca refuses as nothing ever happens to people like Max Hastings. She grabs Pip and they struggle before Pip manages to escape. She stumbles through the caves, leaning on the walls for support while trying to force her body to move. She tries to use her phone to call for help, but can't. She then sees two people enter the caves with lights. She relaxes for a second - until Becca grabs her legs and drags her back to the grate. She starts picking her up when Cara shouts out for Pip, scaring Becca off. Cara and Ravi drop to Pip's side to help her. She asks why Ravi came back, and he says "something to do with marshmallows". Cara tells her it will be okay while calling the police, who are also outside. Pip lets out a shaky breath before passing out.
In a flashback to 2019, Pip is standing at her locker when Sal asks if she's seen Andie. He smiles kindly to her, assuring her that it's okay as he just wants to speak with Andie about something. The young girl points to the classroom nearby and Sal enters with a smile.
In the present day, Leanne reads Pip's EPQ. They discuss her interview and Pip takes a seat, admitting she's not sure if she wants to go to Cambridge or not. She's wondering if there's a difference in what they want now. Sometimes she thinks she has more in common with Victor than her dad, thinking it makes Leanne sad. The women admits that it does make her a bit sad, but it also makes her happen. She wants Pip to do whatever she wants. She has faith that whatever Pip decides to do, she'll see it through, embracing her daughter from the side in a long hug.
Pip visits Andie's mural and finds Max waiting for her. He crudely remarks they'll never be a thing no matter how much she wants him. He's sorry about what happened to Becca Bell, calling her out for being a fucking psycho who can't be believed. Pip does believe Becca, which Max chocks up to her being a psycho too. Pip scoffs as she's not the one who has to drug girls until their unconscious to sleep with them. He reiterates that it was consensual. She steps up to him tensely telling him that he's nothing. She's not going to stop until every single person he's ever hurt gets justice. She gives him a big smile, pats his shoulder, and saunters off with her head held high.
Pip goes to the lake where Ravi is waiting at the bank. He was thinking they could drive to a new pizza place then see the feminist documentary she keeps going on about. She asks him to stop talking and pulls him in for a kiss. They make out by the river bank as black Calamity ribbons hang nearby.

Ravi Singh[]
Initially skeptical of Pip and accusing her of wanting to play the "white knight", Ravi was anything but warm to her until he learned she believed in Sal's innocence. He wanted to clear his brother's name and eventually became her partner in detective crime. They often referred to one another as Holmes and Watson - though never agreeing on who was who in that scenario. Through their unlikely and often secretive partnership, they formed a friendship and kinship that brought the closer together. They invented the perfect investigative snack - marshmallows. Ravi was upset when Pippa began questioning Sal's innocence, fearing that she was wrong this whole time and confessing her guilt over telling Sal where Andie was the day she went missing. Ravi believed she only wanted to help Sal to make herself feel better, and called her incredibly selfish. After getting more evidence, Pippa realized Sal was innocent and put her life on the line to lure out the killer once and for all. This gesture made Ravi forgive Pippa and he stayed up all night with her in case the killer attacked. After proving Sal's innocence, Ravi confessed he wanted to leave Little Kilton, which quietly broke Pippa's heart, as she was about to confess she liked him. She wanted him to stay but knew he couldn't, though the site of a marshmallow stashed in his bag inspired him to return just in time to save her from Elliot Ward, Sal's real killer. He later helped Cara find and save Pippa from a murderous Becca Bell. Ravi and Pip kissed for the first time at the lake.
