A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder[]
In the first book of the series, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, Ravi assists Pippa Fitz-Amobi in investigating the case after she approaches him with some questions. They become steadfast friends, eventually finding out that Elliot Ward and Becca Bell, respectively, were responsible for the death of Sal Singh and Andie Bell.
Good Girl, Bad Blood[]
In the second book, it's revealed that Ravi and Pip have started dating. He has been present at the trial against Max Hastings, and he later joins Pip and her friends in the search for Jamie Reynolds.
As Good as Dead[]
At the beginning of the book, after Pip goes to the mediation meeting, she, Ravi and Josh are in the Amobi's living room. As the book progresses, Ravi assists Pip in her study into the DT Killer cases. After Pip kills Jason Bell, Ravi shows his devotion to Pip by helping her clean the scene, establish an alibi, and frame Max for her murder. He also claims that a piece of evidence against her was from him, linking him to the case, rather than Pip.
At the end of the book, the day before Pip leaves for university, she tells him not to contact her in any way, refusing to risk his safety. Ravi is devastated, but understands it is necessary until the verdict from the trial is decided.
In the epilogue, 697 days later, Max Hastings is finally found guilty for the murder of Jason Bell. Just 3 minutes later, Pip gets a text from Ravi: “Hey Sarge, remember me?”. The series ends.
Physical Appearance[]
Ravi is a young Indian man with brown skin, brown hair and brown eyes. He is described as having "his brother's messy black side-swept hair, thick arched eyebrows and oaken-hued skin", as well as a "dimple in his chin".
Personality[]
Ravi is shown to be a kind, sympathetic and humorous character. When Pip believes his brother to be innocent, he helps her investigate in order to clear his family's name, showing he believes in people he loves. A person with immense loyalty, he will do anything for people he loves, even if it means cover up for murder, and sacrificing himself by directly implicating himself into it to save Pip which he does, in order to protect her from consequences. He is understanding and affectionate in general. He has a sense of humor and is often a "comedic relief". He is upbeat and carefree, and usually doesn't take things seriously, as opposed to Pip's no-nonsense attitude. Yet despite his silly attitude, he is pretty clever and smart, and will get serious if needed. He enjoys coming up with nicknames for Pippa Fitz-Amobi some of them being “Sarge”, "Trouble", and “Pippus Maximus”

Pippa Fitz-Amobi[]
Pippa and Ravi first met when she approached the Singh household to gather evidence to prove Sal Singh's innocence. Ravi helped her throughout the case and they ended up becoming close friends. They started dating around the beginning of the second book. Ravi cares deeply for Pip and supports her through all her obstacles, steadfast in his faith in her abilities.
