Season 1 is the first season of BBC Three's A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. It is based on the first book in the series, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. The first season premiered on July 1, 2024, on BBC in the UK and Ireland, Stan in Australia, and ThreeNow in New Zealand.
BBC Three broadcast the series with two episodes a week beginning on July 10th, 2024 and concluding on July 24th, 2024.
On August 1, 2024, Netflix released the series to the USA and other territories.
From September 8th-22nd, 2024, A Good Girl's Guide to Murder premiered in Germany on ZDFmediathek, while ZDFneo broadcasted two episodes per week.

- Season One of AGGGTMTV is set in 2024, with Andie disappearing in 2019. This is the third year given for the start of the series, with the UK version of the book being set in 2017, and the US version being set in 2019.
- The show was originally not going to add Pip’s iconic nickname ‘Sarge’ but Holly Jackson forced them to, as it is something that is very beloved by fans.
- In the book, there are 6 episodes of the first season of Pip’s podcast, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, and there are six episodes of the first season of the show.
- The first season debuted on Netflix with 7.4 million views in its first week of release, making it the largest English TV show for that week. Viewership grew in its second week to 8.4 million, narrowly beating the final season of The Umbrella Academy.[1]
